Scholarship available for local high school seniors by IAAP

For the 18th year the Appalachian Chapter of IAAP (International Association of Administrative Professional will be accepting applications for their Office Technology Scholarship. The scholarship is open to any high school senior who is continuing their education in the business field that attends school in Pickens, Cherokee, Dawson, Gilmer, Fannin and Gordon counties which are the counties that the Appalachian Chapter serves. The Appalachian Chapter of IAAP is a non-profit organization and provides the scholarship as a community service project.

The application deadline is Thursday, April 19, 2012. Applications can be obtained from the chapter’s website at www.iaap-appalachian.org under the Meetings & Events tab, then Scholarship Application tab or contact scholarship committee chair Debbie Parks at 706-253-5271 or e-mail debbiep@amicalolaemc.com.
