Green said of the signing: "What I like the most is the opportunity to get another ring because they know how to win there, and it's close to home. The most important thing is that I'm getting my education paid for."

Anthony said of the signing: "It's a blessing. Playing college football is something I've dreamed of since I was little. I visited Shorter, and everyone was welcoming and friendly. I feel like I fit in well there."
