Family member and long time employee Lindsey Turner said the restaurant was started by her grandfather James Turner Sr. and was taken over by her father in the 1980s by her father, Jimmy Turner. Rebecca Turner, Lindsey's sister is also a long time employee who assists with many aspects of the business. The family-run enterprise known as Turner Food Systems , also owns and operates the Gravy

Pick O' Deli Cafeteria is open seven days per week. The business is open Monday through Saturday from 10:30 a.m. through 8: 00 p.m. and from 10:30 a.m. until 3:00p.m.on Sunday.

Delivery is available for 5 or more plates within the city limits at no charge. A nominal delivery charge will be assessed to deliveries outside the city limits due to rising fuel costs.
