CMS golf teams improve to 11-0

In golf action Monday, the Calhoun Middle School boys and girls teams pushed their records to 11-0 each on the season.

The Yellow Jacket boys crushed Adairsville  at the Calhoun Elk’s course by 54 strokes. Calhoun posted a team score of 179.

Caleb Hayes led the Jackets with a low medalist round of 40, which was a stroke better than teammate Austin Cherry’s round of 41.

Also scoring for the Jackets were Hunter Norman with a 47 and Brock Stewart with a 51. 

he Lady Jacket linksters thrashed Adairsville by 31 strokes with their team score of 95.

They were led by Katie Rose Rawls’ low medalist score of 47 and Kate Mashburn finished one stroke behind with a round of 48.

The Lady Tigers were paced by Keighley Hudziak’s round of 55.
