  • Coosa Valley Regional Services is holding their monthly board meeting on January 17 at 10 a.m. at the main office in Rome, 3 Riverside Industrial Parkway N.E., Rome. All public is cordially invited to attend.

  • Research has proven that certain foods, and the way they are prepared, may actually help prevent cancer. Learn more at Gordon Hospital’s next nutrition seminar: Nutrition and Can-cer Prevention planned for Thursday, Jan. 17, at 6 p.m. at the Harris Radiation Therapy Cen-ter at Gordon Hospital Conference Room. Free recipes and food preparation demonstration will be offered along with hands-on attendee participation. The seminar and activities are free, but reservations are required.
