New Town Baptist Church will host a gospel music singing featuring The Emmaus Road Quartet, on Sunday evening, Feb. 24, at 6:00 p.m. Pastor Walter Hare invites all to this evening of worship and music.
Movie Night at Mount Zion Baptist Church in Resaca on Sunday February 24th at 6 p.m. will feature the Incredible True Life Story of Karla Faye Tucker. The film is a true-life story, an emotional journey that takes a former drug-crazed prostitute and convicted pickax killer from the depths of despair to personal triumph on Texas death row. The first woman to be executed in Texas in over 100 years was brought from the depths of despair to personal triumph on Texas death row. Pastor Calvin Anderson said, “This movie clearly shows how the amazing transforming love of God in Jesus Christ can reach into the vilest of situations and redeem a precious soul on its way to hell and place that soul on the path to heaven.
