The Gordon Central High School Varsity Academic Team went undefeated at the RESA Region Tournament recently, defeating North Paulding, Cartersville, Calhoun, Sonoraville and Cedartown.

Team members included seniors Josh Allen (capt.), Miranda Whitfield and Jessica Hornyak and Juniors David Beutel and Josue Brocamonte.

They will travel on Feb. 9 to Flowery Branch High School for the State Tournament.
