7&8 Highlights
Vikings (0) vs. Bulldogs (40)
Vikings: W. Bohannon recorded 4 tackles on the night to lead the Vikings defense. A. Tims and I. Brooks recorded 2 tackles each to sum up the night for the Vikings. Bulldogs: S. Hogan, B. McGinnis, and B. Bakken all had fumble recoveries on the night for the Bulldogs’ defense. Offensively B. McGinnis rushed for 118 yards on 6 carries, and 4 touchdowns. He averaged 19 yards per carry on the night, J. McMullins was successful on 2 PAT’s and also scored a touchdown. B. Hughes also was successful on a PAT and scored 1 touchdown on the night to sum up the stats for the Bulldogs in their win over the Vikings.
Canes (19) vs. Wildcats (13)
Canes: C. Quarles and D. Padgett were a dynamic duo for the Canes ground attack. Padgett rushed for 93 yards on 3 carries scoring 1 touchdown on the night. Padgett averaged 31 yards per carry and the other half offensive production came from C. Quarles who rushed for 112 yards on 3 carries, and scoring 2 touchdowns on the night. Quarles averaged 37 yards per carry on the night. Defensively X. Meissner recorded a team high 5 tackles and O. Darnell added 4 tackles and recovered a fumble. D. Padgett also recorded 3 tackles on the night to sum up the stats for the Canes. Wildcats: E. Childs rushed for 1 touchdown on the night. C. Fisher rushed for 78 yards and scored 1 touchdown and added an extra point. C. Gross caught to receptions for 59 yards receiving on the night to sum up the Wildcats offense on the night. Defensively L. Mauldin recovered a fumble, L. White and M. Robertson both recorded 2 tackles on the night for the Wildcats.
Bears (42) vs. Bills (0)
Bears: The Bears had a balanced offensive attack with 5 different players scoring touchdowns. J. Hawkins scored 2 touchdowns on the night, C. Godfrey scored a touchdown, K. Morrison had a touchdown reception, R. Randall rushed for a touchdown, and Z. Lyles scored a touchdown on the night resulting in a convincing win over the Bills. Defensively the Bears had 2 takeaways and the recipients were B. Black and R. Randall so sum up the stats for the Bears. S. Schwartz also added 2 PAT’s, C. Godfrey added 1 extra point, and R. Randall added 3 extra points. Bills: Bills were led by N. Beddington on defense with 2 tackles and A. Baker, G. Harper, L. Mathis, K. Baucom and L. Young all recorded 1 tackle each.
