The Calhoun Lady Jackets were eliminated from the Class AA State Tournament on Tuesday night a they lost 66-49 to No. 1-ranked Wesleyan in the third round.

The Lady Jackets, who were making their first-ever Elite Eight appearance, trailed by 10 at the half and could never get any closer in the final two quarters.

Senior Taylor Palmer led the way with 13 points, and fellow senior Carly Curtis added 11.
