The Calhoun Yellow Jackets fell short of a second straight state title on Saturday, losing 31-14 to Jefferson in the Class AA State Championship Game at the Georgia Dome.

The Jackets cut the lead to 21-14 in the third quarter but that would be as close as they would get.
