Students in Mrs. Smith and Mr. Haney’s 8th grade science class at Sonoraville Middle School, recently conducted a lab over Bernoulli’s Principle.

Students saw how air moved around their cheese balls to create a pocket around the ball of low pressure air.

In addition, students also saw the cheese ball was pushed back in when the ball moved to the side of the pocket. Thus, the upward force from the air stream kept the ball aloft.
