A local Relay for Life team is planning to “Paint the Town Purple” by selling purple bows to businesses in the community.

The bows are going for a minimum $5 donation, and all proceeds will go to Relay for Life.

This is the first year for the Starlettes Relay for Life team and the group has a bevy of ideas to raise money.

Along with the bows, the Starlettes are also selling plastic wrap, donated by Berry Plastics. An 18 inch roll, 2000 feet long, is selling for $8 each or two for $12, and a 12 inch roll, also 2000 feet, is selling for $6 each or two for $10.

For more information or to purchase a bow or plastic wrap, call Sue Ellen at 770-881-0387.
