Calhoun High school students are “having a ball” in physics class this semester.

Recently, the CHS physics class experimentally and mathematically calculated the acceleration of various free falling objects as well as the displacement and velocity.

The laboratory experience covered the following Georgia Performance Standards: SP1- Students will analyze the relationship between force, mass, gravity, and the motion of objects. SCSh3 – Lab investigations, SCSh5 – Demonstrate computation and estimation skills needed for analyzing data and developing scientific explanation.
