Gordon Hospital officials have recently announced that Reatha Clary has been selected to serve as Director of The Baby Place.

According to Amy Jordon, chief nursing officer for Gordon Hospital, Clary’s experience and her compassion for obstetric patients made her the obvious choice to manage the hospital’s obstetrics department.

“We are so excited to have Reatha join our leadership team as director of The Baby Place,” Jordon says. “She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience, which will greatly benefit our patients and our hospital as we grow our obstetrics program.”

Prior to joining Gordon Hospital, Clary worked for 28 years at Dekalb Medical Center in a Level 3 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. She received her nursing degree from Perimeter College and is currently pursuing her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree through Chamberlain College.

“I am excited to be a part of a faith-based community hospital in the field of obstetrics,” Clary says. “I worked here PRN previously in 2008 and loved the feeling of family.”

Clary and her husband, Mike, reside in Cartersville. She has three children, Michael, 26, Jason, 24, and Kristin, 20. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, spending time with her family and watching college sports.
