Gordon County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested two men after a variety of illegal drugs including marijuana, methamphetamine and LSD were discovered inside their vehicle on U.S. Highway 41 in Resaca, according to a press release from the Sheriff’s Office.

Billy Lee Talley, 48, of Dalton and Alexander Thompson Hill, 20, of LaFayette were arrested Wednesday, Jan. 16 and are currently being held in the Gordon County Jail and are charged with possession of marijuana, possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute an possession of LSD with intent to distribute.

According to reports, deputies from the Community Crimes Prevention Unit stooped a suspicious vehicle and after questioning the driver and passenger, conducted a search of the vehicle, when the drugs were discovered.
