Mr. Ott was born in Newark, Ohio, on September 3, 1964. At the time of his death he was a twister operator with Engineered Floors, LLC in Calhoun. He was preceded in death by a step-daughter, Erica Roberson. Mr. Ott was an avid lover of the White Doberman-Pincher and was a breeder. Many of his white Doberman-Pincher dogs are used by many law enforcement agencies in several states.
Survivors include his wife, the former Ronda Sue Thompson, to whom he was married, May 10, 1997; 2 sons, Cobra Ott and Dakota Ott both of Kingston; 2 step-daughters, Jennifer Hutchens, Calhoun and Felicia Roberson, Kingston; 3 step-sons, Michael Roberson and his wife, Deanna, Calhoun, Greg Roberson and his wife Tiffany, Calhoun, and Jonathan Roberson, Kingston; 14 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild also survive.
A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Ott will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, January 21, 2013 in the chapel at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home with his step-son, Mr. Greg Roberson and other family members officiating.
The family will receive friends at Henderson and Sons Funeral Home on Sunday, from 6 p.m. until 8pm, and at other hours they may be contacted at the residence.
Henderson and Sons Funeral Home has charge of the funeral arrangements.
