(The R.A.C., Rossville, GA) – Sophomore Kyle Wilson (Armuchee) lit up the scoreboard for a game-high 25 as the Bobcats break out of their three-game slide with a win over Covenant College Monday night at home, 63-57.

Georgia Northwestern point guard Patrick Printup (Adairsville) added 11 and forward Seth Davenport (Murray County) racked up ten points in the win at The R.A.C, Rossville Athletic Complex. “It was nip and tuck the entire game,” said GNTC Head Men’s Basketball Coach David Stephenson. “Fortunately, we were able to pull away at the very end.”

The Bobcats (2-3, 0-3) will now take the holidays off and return to action on December 4 as they hope to reach the .500 mark with a win. They’ll hit the road for Nashville, Tennessee to tip it off with Freewill Baptist in a rematch of their season-opener.

Covenant JV guard Grant Fox led all Scot scorers with 11 points in their loss. The Scots (0-2) return to action after the holiday break on November 30 as they travel to Oxford, Georgia to share the hardwood with Oxford College.
