WEEK 3 – Tuesday, September 27 – Saturday, October 1

9 & 10 - TACKLE

Tuesday, September 27

Bulldogs (20) vs. Tigers (6)

The Bulldogs Drew Rutledge scored the first touchdown of the night on a 2 yard run. Collin Baggett scored the extra point. In the third quarter the Bulldogs scored again on a 19 yard touchdown run by Drew Rutledge. In the fourth quarter the Tigers Nelson Gravitt scored a 49 yard touchdown. The Bulldogs Collin Bagget scored the final touchdown on a 49 yard carry. Mason Ray scored the extra point for the Bulldogs.

Bulldogs: Drew Rutledge lead the Bulldogs defense with 7 tackles; Ryder Williams had 4 tackles; Kylis Harris had 3 tackles; Mason Ray, Branton Lawson, and Collin Baggett each had 1 tackle.

Tigers: Brandon Barrius and Nelson Gravitt each had 4 tackles; Will Bryant had 3 tackles; Joseph Pacheo and Davin Buckner both had 2 tackles; Dawson Kerns, Colton Richards, Caleb Boone, Dawson Williams, Stephen Stacy, and Kody Hillegeist each had 1 tackle.

Falcons (19) vs. Giants (0)

The Falcons scored in the first quarter on a 2 yard run by Zack Fuller with the extra point scored by Logan Parker. In the second quarter Zack Fuller scored on a 31 yard touchdown run. Zeke Brown scored the extra point. The final touchdown of the game was scored by Zeke Brown on a 5 yard run.

Falcons: The Falcons defense was lead by Zeke Brown and Julian Ipac with 4 tackles each; Joshua Hales had 3 tackles; Logan Parker had 2 tackles; and Elijah Baldridge and Will Brumlow both had 1 tackle. Zack Fuller ended the night with 112 yards rushing.

Giants: Davis Allen finished the night with an impressive 11 tackles; Grant Gilmer had 5 tackles; Seth Wolfe had 4 tackles; and Matt Fletcher, Brody Bond, Jaedan Curtis, Thomas Ross, Bryson Fowler, Joshua Futch and Hayes Carpenter all had 1 tackle.

Cowboys (32) vs. Eagles (0)

The Cowboys Carson Speer scored the first touchdown for the Cowboys on a 56 yard run. Cameron Pierce scored the second touchdown in the first quarter on a 44 yard run. In the 2nd quarter Carson Speer completed a 22 yard pass to Brett Garland for a touchdown. In the 3rd quarter Carson Speer ran for 42 yards to score for the Cowboys. Nathan Davis scored the extra point. In the 4th quarter Brett Garland scored a 27 yard touchdown.

Cowboys: Hunter Hartsfield and Ian Harrell each had 2 tackles; Cole Wilson, Cameron Pierce, Carson Perez, Joshua Tolson, and Rob Kessler each had 1 tackle.

Eagles: Blade Bryant lead the Eagles defense with 4 tackles; Chandler Serritt and Aaron Hayes both had 3 tackles; Drew Pate and Cameron West each had 2 tackles; Kendez Griffin and Cole Greeson each had 1 tackle.

9 & 10 TACKLE

Cowboys (12) vs. Bulldogs (0)

The Cowboys Cameron Pierce scored in the first quarter on a 4 yard run. The Cowboys did not score again until the fourth quarter on a 18 yard touchdown run by Carson Speer.

Cowboys: Carson Perez had 6 tackles; Eric Knight had 5 tackles; Wes McCormick had 4 tackles; Cameron Pierce had 3 tackles; Carson Speer, Joshua Tolson and Ian Harrell each had 2 tackles; Ben Burns had 1 tackle.

Bulldogs: Mason Ray lead the Bulldogs defense with 7 tackles; Drew Rutledge and Dawson Hamby each had 4 tackles; Kylis Harris, Branton Lawson, and Drake Boyer each had 3 tackles; Matthew McCanless and Ryder Williams each had 2 tackles; Bryce Bates and Jackson Murray each had 1 tackle.

Falcons (28) vs. Tigers (0)

The Falcons scored on the Tigers in the first quarter with a 6 yard touchdown run by Zack Fuller and Zeke Brown scored the extra point. In the second quarter Zeke Brown scored on a 11 yard touchdown run and Joshua Hales scored the extra point. The Falcons scored again in the second quarter on an 11 yard touchdown pass from Logan Parker to Zack Fuller. Joshua Hales scored the extra point. In the fourth quarter Logan Parker scored a Falcons touchdown on a 2 yard run. Zack Fuller scored the extra point.

Falcons: Zack Fuller had 6 tackles for the night; Elijah Baldridge had 4 tackles; Zeke Brown, Joshua Hales, and Will Brumlow each had 3 tackles; Logan Parker had 2 tackles; Julian Ipac had 1 tackle. Zeke Brown had an interception in the 3rd quarter.

Tigers: Colton Richards and Joseph Pacheco lead the Tiger defense with 5 tackles each; Davin Buckner had 3 tackles; Dawson Kerns, Brandon Barrius, Nelson Gravitt, Will Bryant, Caleb Boone and Nicholas Prater all had 1 tackle.

Giants (18) vs. Eagles (0)

The Giants scored in the first quarter on a 20 yard touchdown run by Matt Fletcher. In the second quarter Davis Allen scored on a 2 yard run. Davis Allen scored a 33 yard touch down for the Giants in the third quarter.

Giants: Jaedan Curtis had 3 tackles for the Giants; Seth Wolfe and Davis Allen each had 2 tackles; Caden Curtis, Grant Gilmer and Bryant Craig each had 3 tackles. Hayes Carpenter recovered a fumble in the first quarter. Matt Fletcher recovered a fumble on the kick-off in the third quarter.

Eagles: Kendez Griffin had 5 tackles for the Eagles; Chandler Serritt had 4 tackles; Collin Prater, Aaron Hayes, Drew Pate and Ethan Tibbs all had 3 tackles; Eathon Dodd had 1 tackle; and Cameron West had 1 tackle. Blade Bryant recovered a fumble for the Giants in the 4th quarter.

7 & 8 TACKLE

Tigers (13) vs. Jackets (6)

The Jackets scored first on a 5 yard run by Cole Speer. The Tigers answered with a 57 yard touchdown run by Brett Bradley. Brett Bradley also scored the extra point. Brett Bradley scored again for the Tigers in the 4th quarter on a 20 yard touchdown run.

Tigers: Brett Bradley ended the night with 6 tackles; Brendan Gray had 5 tackles; Kaleb Shuggart had 4 tackles; Jaden Kennedy and Taylor Land had 3 tackles; Matthew Petty 2 tackles; and Camran Dodd, Luke Hawkins, and Justin Keller each had 1 tackle. Jaden Kennedy recovered a fumble in the 2nd quarter.

Jackets: The Jackets were lead in defense by Cole Speer with 6 tackles; Jake Raines and Peyton Parker each had 3 tackles; Drako Owens and Ryan Baldwin both had 2 tackles; Sklyer Crane, Kaleb Ray, Garrett Wilbanks and Andon Lewis each had 1 tackle.

Bulldogs (21) vs. Giants (6)

The Bulldogs scored in the first quarter on a 3 yard touchdown run by Wyatt Brumlow and Jaden Brock scored the extra point. In the second quarter Jaden Brock scored on a 2 yard touchdown run. Isaac Nance scored the extra point on a pass from Jaden Brock. Dante Morton scored the third touchdown for the Bulldogs in the third quarter with a 44 yard touchdown run. Dante also scored the extra point. In the fourth quarter Elijah Futch scored a 65 yard touchdown for the Giants.

Bulldogs: Jackson Hamby, Jaden Brock, and Mason Green each had 2 tackles for the Bulldogs; Dante Morton, Mason Walker, Wyatt Brumlow and Shamlin Buchanan each had 1 tackle.

Giants: The Giants were lead in defense by Own Hall with 7 tackles; Elijah Futch had 3 tackles; Sabien Macon and Omar West each had 2 tackles; Caleb McFarland, John Barnes, Santino Jones, and Gavin Velarde each had 1 tackle. Omar West recovered a fumble for the Giants in the 4th quarter.

Jets (13) vs. Titans (0)

The Jets scored the first touchdown of the night in the third quarter on a 13 yard run by Chayson Brown. Brandon Putnam scored the extra point. In the fourth quarter Corbin Fuller scored for the Jets on a recovered fumble.

Jets: Chayson Brown had 6 tackles for the Jets; Johnny Washington had 2 tackles; Brad Stone, Brandon Putnam, Joseph Garrard, Ethan Hendrix, and Dylan Faulkner each had 1 tackle. Ethan Henrix, Johnny Washington and Corbin Fuller each recovered a fumble.

Titans: Cooper Harmon had 3 tackles for the Titans; Lex Walraven, Christopher Lewis, Bryson Lofton, Hunter Lance, and Nathan Fuller each had 1 tackle.

7-8 TACKLE

Bulldogs (19) vs. Tigers (7)

Dante Morton scored on an 80 yard run for the Bulldogs in the first quarter. Dante also scored the extra point. Brett Bradley scored the Tigers first touchdown on a 62 yard touchdown. Brett also scored the extra point. Neither team scored in the second and third quarters. The Bulldogs scored in the fourth quarter on a 7 yard touchdown by Morton and again on a 29 yard touchdown run by Morton.

Bulldogs: Mason Walker had 5 tackles for the Bulldogs; Jackson Hamby, Isaac Nance, and Shamblin Buchanan each had 3 tackles; Jaden Brock, Dante Morton, and Hayden Poarch had 2 tackles; Wyatt Brumlow and Mason Green each had 1 tackle.

Tigers: Taylor Land had 2 tackles for the Tigers. Trip Moore, Brett Bradley, Luke Hawkins, and Matthew Petty all had 1 tackle.

Jets (19) vs. Giants (13)

The Giants scored in the first quarter on a 5 yard run by Omar West. Elijah Futch scored the extra point. In the second quarter the Jets scored on a 2 yard run by Johnny Washington. Brandon Putnam also scored for the Jets in the second quarter on a six yard touchdown run and Johnny Washington scored the extra point. In the third quarter the Giants West scored again on an eighty yard touchdown. The Jets answered with a 44 yard touchdown ran by Washington, and Chayson Brown scored the extra point.

Jets: Joseph Garrard lead the Jets defense with 4 tackles; Julius McDaniel had 3 tackles; Chayson Brown, Ethan Hendrix and Donovan Hendrix each had 1 tackle.

Giants: Owen Hall had 5 tackles for the Giants; Santino Jones and Omar West had 4 tackles; Jaxx Knight had 3 tackles; John Barnes, Elijah Futch, and Sabien Macon all had 2 tackles for the day. Owen Hall had an interception and Omar West recovered a fumble.

Titans (13) vs. Jackets (0)

Christopher Lewis scored the first touchdown of the day for the Titans on an eighty yard run. Bryson Lofton scored again for the Titans in the third quarter on a 4 yard run.

Titans: Lex Walraven, Christopher Lewis and Bryson Lofton all had 2 tackles; Cooper Harmon and Jacob Tolson each had 1 tackle.

Jackets: Cole Speer lead the Jackets with 6 tackles; Peyton Meyers, Kaleb Ray, and Peyton Parker each had 3 tackles; Ryan Baldwin had 2 tackles; Jake Raines, Wesley Shelton, and Aidan Timms all had 1 tackle. Payton Meyers also recovered a fumble,

9 & 10 TACKLE

Falcons (21) vs. Cowboys (20)

The Falcons Zack Fuller scored on a 53 yard touchdown and also scored the extra point in the first quarter. The Cowboys answered in the second quarter on a 32 yard touchdown pass from Carson Speer to Eric McKnight. The Falcons Zack Fuller then scored on a 21 yard touchdown run by Zack Fuller who also scored the extra point. At half time the Falcons were ahead 14 to 6. In the third quarter the Cowboys scored on a 1 yard run by Carson Speer and Cameron Pierce kicked it through the uprights for 2 points to tie the game. Neither team scored again so at the end of regulation play the game went into overtime with each team having the opportunity to score on 4 downs. The Falcons won the toss and scored first on a 4 yard touchdown run and scored the extra point. The Cowboys Eric McKnight scored a touchdown for the Cowboys but the Cowboys failed to score the extra point. The Falcons won 21 to 20.

Falcons: Zeke Brown and Elijah Baldridge lead the defense with 4 tackles; Zack Fuller, Joshua Hales, and Julian Ipac each had 3 tackles; Jeremiah Petty and Will Brumlow each had 1 tackle.

Cowboys: Ian Harrell had 3 tackles; Eric McKnight had 2 tackles; Wes McCormick, Cole Wilson, Cameron Pierce, Carson Speer, and Carson Perez each had 1 tackle.

Bulldogs (18) vs. Eagles (0)

The Bulldogs Collin Baggett scored in the first quarter on a 19 yard touchdown run. In the second quarter Drew Rutledge scored the second touchdown for the Bulldogs on a 57 yard touchdown run. In the fourth quarter Collin Baggett scored his second touchdown for the Bulldogs on a 39 yard touchdown run.

Bulldogs: Collin Baggett, Mason Ray and Drew Rutledge all had 3 tackles for the day; Kylis Harris had 2 tackles; Branton Lawson, Jackson Murray, and Raj Shah each had 1 tackle. Ryder Williams recovered a fumble in the third quarter. Dawson Hamby intercepted a Eagle pass in the fourth quarter.

Eagles: John Knight had 4 tackles for the Eagles defense; Cole Greeson had 3 tackles; Aaron Hayes and Blade Bryant both had 2 tackles; Drew Pate, Andrew Gallman, and Cameron West each had 1 tackle.

Giants (22) vs. Tigers (0)

The game was scoreless until the second quarter when the Giants Davis Allen scored on a 38 yard touchdown run. The Giants scored again in the third quarter on a 1 yard run by Allen and Craig Bryant kicked the ball through the uprights for 2 extra points. In the fourth quarter Matt Fletcher scored on an 11 yard touchdown run and the extra point was good.

Giants: Davis Allen, Jaedan Curtis, and Hayes Carpenter all had 1 tackle; Caden Charles recovered a fumble in the fourth quarter.

Tigers: The Tigers defense was lead by Joseph Pacheco with 8 tackles; Brandon Barrius and Colton Richards each had 5 tackles; Dawson Kerns and Dawson Williams each had 2 tackles; Xaxton Goodson, Nelson Gravitt, Trent Walker, Will Bryant, Matthew Morrison, and Caleb Boone each had 1 tackle.

11 & 12 TACKLE

The Cartersville Recreation and Parks teams came to Calhoun to compete against the Calhoun Recreation Department teams. There were 4 great match ups for the day.

Calhoun Redskins (0) vs. Cartersville Hurricanes (1) – overtime/penetration

The Redskins and Hurricanes remained scoreless throughout the game. The game went into sudden death overtime and Cartersville Hurricanes won penetration.

Redskins: Trey Fair lead the Redskins defense with 5 tackles; Jess Ralston had 2 tackles; and Luke Jones, Christian Ponder, and Hunter Payne each had a tackle. Luke Jones recovered a Hurricanes fumble in the third quarter and Tigger Frix had an interception in the fourth quarter.

Cartersville Hurricanes: Jacob Frye and Nicholas Campuzano each had 3 tackles; Nicholas Lundberg, Dominique Williams, and Parker Cagle each had 2 tackles.

Calhoun Packers (16) vs. Cartersville Canes (0)

The Packers scored in the first quarter on a 5 yard touchdown run by Kelan Stepp and Wayne Freeman scored 2 points on the point after. J.C. Fuller scored a 1 yard touchdown in the third quarter and Freeman was good on the point after attempt.

Packers: Wayne Freeman had 5 tackles for the day; Kelan Stepp had 3 tackles; Rhett Abernathy, Ben King, Zacquin Curtis, and Dustin Freeman each had 2 tackles; Jake Fricks and Bryce Bakken both had 1 tackle. Ben King recovered a fumble in the fourth quarter.

Cartersville Canes: Jacoby Orr and Ashton Nettles each had 2 tackles; Nick Root and Evan Williams both had 1 tackle.

Calhoun Ducks (8) vs. Cartersville Force (12)

The Cartersville Force scored in the first quarter on a 48 yard run by Terry Berdin. The Ducks then scored in the third quarter on a 3 yard touchdown by Timothy Mullins and Mullins was good on the point after attempt. The Cartersville Force then scored late in the fourth quarter on a 17 yard touchdown run by Terry Berdin.

Ducks: Triston Kight, Bryson Davis, and Andrew Clements each had 2 tackles; Jack Holbrook, Rhett Burgess, Alon Burdette, and Timothy Mullins each had 1 tackle. Brock Bates recovered a fumble in the second quarter.

Cartersville Force: Terry Berdin had 3 tackles; Walker Jones and Noah Heard had 2 tackles; Adrian Hall and Marcus Gary each had 1 tackle.

Calhoun Jackets (7) vs. Cartersville Storm (18)

The Cartersville Storm scored in the first quarter on a 3 yard touchdown run by Emmanuel Jones. The Jackets answered with an 11 yard touchdown run by Jakeenon Dixon. Dixon also scored the extra point. The Storm scored again in the fourth quarter on a 67 yard run by Emmanuel Jones. Jones also scored on a 50 yard touchdown run.

Jackets: Drew Johnson had 2 tackles; Ryan McCallion, Bailey Lester, Matthew Ralston, Matthew Myers, Cole Perez, Taylor Miller, and Bralin Barten each had 1 tackle.

Cartersville Storm: Emmanuel Jones had 4 tackles; Miguel Wade had 1 tackle.
