LFO took a 7-0 lead early in the first quarter. Penalties plagued both teams and the score remained the same through the third quarter.
In the final quarter, Sonoraville found their feet and scored their first touchdown of the game on a Houston Nance run. Phoenix freshman Clay Grisham then took the ball in for 2-points and an 8-7 lead.
LFO did not lay down after the score and took a 15-8 lead after another touchdown and their own successful 2-point play.
With less than two minutes to go, Sonoraville scored again on a QB sneak by Grisham. Grisham then scored on a the 2-point play for the lead and the win.
