A month-long investigation came to fruition this morning with one arrest and more expected.

According to the Calhoun City Police (CCP):

Kyle Heath, 19, of Calhoun, is charged with two counts of violation of the Georgia controlled substance act.

Agents with the CCP Special Operations Unit discovered marijuana along with drug paraphernalia during the execution of a search warrant at a Mauldin Road apartment complex around 10 a.m. Tuesday morning.

“We expect more arrest to follow as a result of this investigation” said CCP Chief Garry Moss.

Heath remains in the Gordon County Jail with bond pending.
