First United Methodist Church Preschool will open registration for the 2012-2013 school year on March 26. They offer weekday morning programs for children ages 15 months through 4 years, in a Christian atmosphere, with Chapel, Bible verses, prayer and obser-vance of Christian holidays. The curriculum emphasizes language development and the four year olds work on pre-reading skills that they will need in kindergarten. Classes for the fall include a two-day Toddlers' class, two, three or five days for two year olds, three or five days for three year olds and a five day four year old class. All of the programs are taught by ex-perienced teachers who average over 10 years each in the program. Open House will be held at the preschool on Tuesday, Mar. 27 from 5:30 until 7 p.m. to meet the teachers and tour the school. They are located o the corner of East Line St. and College St, in the Christian Activi-ties Center. For further information or to receive an information packet in the mail, call 706-629-2813 between 8 a.m. and noon on a weekday, or you can email fumc.preschool@gmail.com.
