Wally's Friends Low Cost Spay and Neuter Clinic is coming back to Gordon County on Wednesday, March 28 and Thursday, March 29. Wally’s Friends is a non-profit clinic whose mission is to dramatically impact the numbers of unwanted animals destroyed in shelters and starving on the street by high volume low cost spay and neuter. Junior Girls unit of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary 5376 will be having a pancake breakfast on April 14 from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. at the VFW. Cost of the plates will be $5. This includes all the pancakes you want, and your choice of ham or sausage and a drink. All proceeds will go to the Junior Girls unit. The Junior Girls unit contains girls from ages 5 to 16 years old and is open to any girl that has a parent, grandparent, or sibling that is or has served in a foreign war.
