There will be a B.B.Q, Gospel Singing and Auction at Sugar Valley Community Center lo-cated at 3295 Sugar Valley Road NW, Sugar Valley on April 14, 2012 from 12 p.m. until 7 p.m. B.B.Q plates will be $5 and there will be hamburgers and hot dogs also, and there will be a cake walk. The guest singers include The Roundtree Family, One Step Forward and The Martinairs. All proceeds will benefit Bible Baptist Church. For more information, contact pastor John Huffman at 706-936-6344.
Story Time at the Fairmount City Library will be Saturday, April 14 from 10:30 a.m. until Noon. This month the story and theme will be Mr. Popper's Penquins by Richard and Flor-ence Atwater. First Ever, Highway 136 Yard Sale: encouraging all counties that Highway 136 travels through to participate in this event. ( From Alabama state line to Gainesville, GA). The East Armuchee Community Club will have spaces available to rent at the Armuchee Valley Com-munity Center and will be open to campers to set up with their "stuff". The Calhoun High School class of 1957 will have 55th reunion Saturday, April 14, at First Baptist Church – Calhoun in the Christian Life Center; the church is located at 411 College Street. Friends and members of other classes are welcome to come visit at 6 p.m., or to join us for dinner at 6:30 p.m. Call 706-629-2247 for reservations, and send your remittance of $17 per person by March 19.
