  • The Book Depot, operated by the Friends of the Library, is open each Wednesday from 1-5 p.m. and the first and third Saturday of each month from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. The Book Depot is located in a small brick building at the corner of Court and King Streets. Proceeds from book sales go to support the Calhoun-Gordon County Library.

  • Anyone interested in learning to line dance has an opportunity to learn from Lois Roberts, a line dancing instructor. Please call: 706-629-2716. If no answer, please leave a message, and your call will be returned.

  • Evergreen Baptist Church is having a Spring Revival April 15-18, beginning at 6 p.m. Sunday and 7:30 p.m. through the week. Visiting is preacher is Roger Hooker. Pastor Jerome Silvers invites everyone.

  • The Holy Ghost Revival will be April 15-22 at the House of Prayer on Briar Hill Estates Road in Fairmount, Ga. It will begin at 6:30 p.m. Sunday and 7 p.m. weekdays. There will be a different ministry each night. All are welcome. For more information, call 706-337-3764 or 770-773-0810.
