September 9-15th, in observance of National Assisted Living Week, Morning Pointe of Calhoun will host a series of special events for residents, families, associates, volunteers and the surrounding community.

This year’s theme is ‘Art for the Ages’. Each day, the assisted living community will focus on a different kind of art celebrating the artist in everyone.

Highlights of Calendar of Events for National Assisted Living Week:

Sept 9: Art of Family and Fun- Family Fun Day-Hamburger-Hotdog Lunch, dunking booth, face painting, petting zoo, and lots more fun events.

Sept 10: Art of Celebration-Lunch and National Assisted Living Week Proclamation signing with Calhoun Mayor Jimmy Palmer.

Sept. 11: Art of Creation featuring arts and craft classes with Georgia Cumberland Academy students.

Sept. 12: art of the outdoors featuring Senior Day at Cherokee Capitol Fair Grounds.

Sept. 13: Art of Sport and Show featuring football family night and craft show.

Sept. 14: Art of Music with local musicians and Georgia Cumberland Academy students.
