“We have visible soldiers and invisible soldiers and sometimes we have folks that are working mightily behind the scenes and they are just not seen a lot,” said Gordon County Superintendent Dr. Bill McCown. “Susie has developed a name for her students and for herself. Susie is an unsung hero and I think we need to make that unsung hero, a sung hero and get her out in front where you can see her.”
