It was a night of celebration at Phil Reeve Stadium as the Calhoun Yellow Jackets downed Model, 35-0, to clinch their 12th straight region title and the No. 1 seed for 7-AA in the state playoffs.

Alex Urbano had a big night on the ground for the Jackets, rushing for 178 yards and two touchdowns in the win.

Gordon Central and Sonoraville didn't have as fun of nights. The Warriors fell to Adairsville in a thrilling back-and-forth affair, 38-35. The loss will more than likely cost Gordon Central their first home playoff game in school history as they will now finish as the No. 3 or 4 seed in 5-AAA.

Sonoraville's long season continued with a 56-7 loss to Cartersville.
