James Randolph (Randy) White of Calhoun, passed away on Monday, October 29, 2012 after a brief illness.

Randy was born August 24, 1946 in South Charleston, W.Va. and grew up in South Charleston and Huntington, W.Va.. He received a B.A. in Accounting from Marshall University, became a CPA and worked in local government and finance throughout his career in Huntington; Morgantown, W.Va.; Louisville, Ky.; Atlanta, Ga.; Newnan, Ga. and Calhoun, Ga. Randy was a member of Crane Eater Community Church in Calhoun, and the Presbyterian Church USA. Additionally, Randy was a member of the Kiwanis Club and actively involved in numerous church and charitable activities. He was a loving son, brother and uncle and is survived by his Stepmother, Betty White; his sister and brother in-law Jackie and Pete DeWald; his brother and sister in-law Tracy and Renee White; his sister in-law Helen White, and many loving nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Walter White; his mother Freda White; his brother Walter Ward White; and his sister Mary Jo Glover. A funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Friday November 2, at Teays Valley Presbyterian Church in Scott Depot, W.Va. Visitation was held one hour prior to the service at the church and burial immediately followed the service at Cunningham Memorial Park in St Albans, W.Va.
