A Calhoun tradition continues on Sunday, November 18, 2012 as the Gordon County Chamber of Commerce presents Open House, a long-established shopping celebration featuring special holiday promotions and drawings for two grand prize packages. The Marketing and Business Development Committee organizes Open House as a way to draw shoppers into the fund and encourage them to “keep it in the county” as they check items off their Christmas shopping lists.

So far, participating retailers include Andy Baxter Photography, Beth & Company, Biddy Boutique, Calhoun Premium Outlets, Cherokee Cycles, Country Friends, DiPrimas’s Shoes, Donna’s Hallmark, Game Portal, GEM Theatre, Harris Arts Center, Jonesies Gifts & More, Red Door, Reese’s Fashion Gallery, The Fitting Room, Tot Roost & Teens and Velo Vineyard.

Each of the participating retailers supports Open House by contributing gift certificates which are bundled into prize packages awarded to the drawing winners on Monday, November 19, 2012. Shoppers qualify for the drawings by securing five store stamps on special shopping cards which they complete and leave with one of the participating retailers before Open House concludes at 5:00 p.m.
