The Lions added Durham, a former Calhoun High star, in September after the 2011 fourth-round draft pick was released by the Seattle Seahawks.
Durham appeared in just three games with Seattle as a rookie, catching three passes for 30 yards. He was placed on injured reserve in November with a torn labrum.
The 6-foot-6, 216-pound receiver played his college ball at Georgia, where he was teammates with Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford. As a junior in 2008, Stafford's final season at Georgia, Durham caught 13 passes for 199 yards and a touchdown.
Durham missed the 2009 season after tearing his labrum during the spring. He returned for his senior season in 2010, catching 32 passes for 659 yards and three touchdowns. His 20.6 yards per reception was the third best in the NCAA that season.
