Former Calhoun High standout Kris Durham made his debut for the Detroit Lions on Sunday night when the team took on Green Bay.

Durham, who was activated from the Lions practice squad earlier in the week, finished with five catches for 54 yards in the 27-20 loss at Green Bay.

Durham was signed by to the Lions practice squad over the summer when he was released by the Seattle Seahawks.

He was a fourth-round selection by the Seahawks in the 2011 NFL Draft and appeared three games last season for Seattle, including recording three catches for 30 yards in a game early in the season against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Durham, was the Class AA Defensive Player of the Year for Calhoun in 2005. After that, he went on to play at the University of Georgia.
