Dixon is employed as an End User Computer Specialist with the hospital’s Informational Services Department.

Dixon, who has been employed by Gordon Hospital for 18 months, says she is very appreciative of the honor.
“First and foremost, I would like to thank God for His never-ending grace and mercy during what ended up being one of the wonderful times of my life,” Dixon says. “To be considered for the Extra Mile Award is a great honor and a privilege so thank you, Gordon Hospital. Next, I would like to thank my truly outstanding director, Daniel Hebard, whose leadership and vision have been there for me from day one. And to the amazing Gordon Hospital staff, it is always a pleasure coming to work every day with such a lovely and encouraging group of people.”
Dixon holds degrees in Computer Specialist and Networking Specialist from Georgia Northwestern Technical College. She resides in Cartersville. During her spare time, Dixon enjoys anything computer-related, with an interest in gaming, and reading.
