More than 20 teachers and staff recently completed the Gordon County Leadership Exploration course, and were recognized by the Gordon County Board of Education and Superintendent Dr. Bill McCown.

Lead by Director of Human Resources, Susan Cole, the leadership exploration program is designed to incorporate problem-based and action-learning methodologies, with program topics including but not be limited to: Education Law and Ethics, Finance, Common Core Curriculum, Student Services, and Human Resources, as well as current trends in education that are pertinent to Gordon County Schools.
