Robert Kenneth Davidson “Boot”, 55, of Calhoun, passed away Thursday January 3, in Piedmont Hospital.

Kent was born November 1, 1957 in Gordon County, son of the late Robert and Susan King Davidson. He was a loving brother and uncle who never met a stranger. Kent was a 1976 graduate of Calhoun High School where he played football for the Yellow Jackets setting several school records that still stand today. You could always find Kent with his best friend his dog ‘Blue’, he was preceded in death by: his sister, Karen Davidson and grandmother, Grace “MaMaw” Davidson.

Survivors include: his brother, Kerry Davidson and his wife Lori of Milledgeville, Ga.; sister, Kelly Davidson of Calhoun; nieces and nephews: Cynthia Stanley, Robert Davidson, Tyler Davidson, Michael Davidson, Mathew Rehwald and Christopher Rehwald.

Memorial Services were conducted at 3 p.m. on Monday, January 7 from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Cynthia Stanley officiating.

The family received friends from 1 p.m. until the funeral hour on Monday at the funeral home.
