Several members of the Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church created the baskets. The group believes giving back is shown in the ability to help make others Christmas enjoyable.
The church members filled the baskets, to be given to families of The Calhoun Housing Authority, with lots of goodies and love to make a complete meal.
The baskets were filled at home and returned to the church to receive a special Christmas Blessing from the Pastor Andy Witt and the members.
The Calhoun Housing Authority maintenance staff has been very gracious each year to deliver the baskets to the families.
This is a happy time for the maintenance department to help make someone’s Christmas a more Joyous one.
Janice Tipps, Senior Resident Coordinator of the Calhoun Housing Authority and husband Ross Tipps, retired Methodist minister are members of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church.
