Keith Pack has been awarded Gordon Hospital’s Extra Mile Award, created by members of the hospital’s Employee Engagement Committee.

The award is given monthly to a deserving employee selected by the hospital’s directors to recognize employees who go above and beyond the call of duty on a regular basis.

Pack is employed as superintendent of construction with the hospital’s Facilities and Plant Operations Department.

“Keith Pack has distinguished himself by putting the needs of everyone above himself, never faltering when others needed him for help or advice,” says Elmore Patterson, director of facilities and plant operations. “Keith’s outstanding contributions in construction and project management significantly enhanced the execution of our hospital in completing our mission. The accomplishments of Mr. Keith Pack serve as an example to all who know him and reflect great credit upon himself, the Facilities and Plant Operations Department, and Gordon Hospital.”

Pack, who has been employed by Gordon Hospital for three years, says he is very appreciative of the recognition and also shares it with his coworkers.

“I am very honored to receive this award,” Pack says. “I’d like send a big thanks to Henry Conner, Jerome Taylor, and all of the Plant Ops team.”

Pack is a graduate of Fairmount High School and studied construction, building, and design for four years at Calhoun Vocational. He and his wife, Carla, reside in Ranger and are the parents of three children, Brandon Pack, Brittany Ingle, and Luke Ingle.

During his spare time, Pack enjoys growing vegetables, fishing, hunting, and going to flea markets.
