Mr. James Edward Bennett, 57, of Calhoun, departed this life Tuesday January 22, 2013 at the Kindred Hospital in Rome, GA. James was born on February 17, 1955 in Hamilton County, Tenn. He was preceded in death by his father, Fred Roy Bennett, brother, Joe Bennett.

He is survived by his wife Alma Bennett of Calhoun, GA; mother, Leona Bennett of Chattanooga, Tenn.; sons and daughters-in-law, Troy and Wendy Lusk of Hixson, Tenn., Fred Roy and Melissa Bennett of Sonoraville, Ga, James and Janet Bennett of Signal Mountain, Tenn.; daughter and son-in-law, Sondra and Vance Griffith of Soddy Daisy, Tenn.; brother, David Bennett of Soddy Daisy, Tenn.; eight grandchildren, two great grandchildren.

Services to celebrate the life of Mr. James Edward Bennett were held Saturday, January 26, 2013 at noon at the Bethel Baptist Church at 632 Lullwater Rd Red Bank, Tenn. 37405 with Pastor Darrell Coffman officiating. He was laid to rest at the Pierce Cemetery in Evansville, Tenn.
