Curfew lifted in storm affected areas of Gordon County

The curfew during hours of darkness for the areas of Gordon County which were impacted by the tornado on January 30 has been lifted. Normal travel has resumed in the areas. Concentrated patrols in these areas will continue, however, extra deputy sheriffs remain deployed in those communities. Persons in these areas needing any type of assistance from the Sheriff's Office should call 911 or 706.629.1244.
