State Fire Commissioner Ralph Hudgens says his office and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation are probing the Tuesday evening fire at a manufactured home in the Murray County community.
Hudgens said in a statement that the man's body has been sent to the GBI Crime Lab in Atlanta for an autopsy.
The Murray County Sheriff's Office and the Murray County Fire Department are assisting with the investigation.
