The Mother and Deacon Board Ministry at Friendship Baptist Church, located at 452 W. Line Street in Calhoun, presents Family and Friends Day beginning at 4 p.m. on March 10. Featured speaker will be Rev. Reuben Graham of True Gospel Pentecostal Church in Dalton. Refreshments will be provided.
The month of March is “March into Sunday School” at Philadelphia Baptist Church. There are classes for all ages and everyone is invited to come learn more about God’s word. On Easter Sunday, March 31, there will be a special promotion day with a push for 100 percent participation. Sunday School begins at 10 a.m. each Sunday morning. The church is located one half mile off of U.S. 41 between Calhoun and Adairsville. Worship service in on Sundays at 11 a.m.; Wednesday night’s prayer meeting begins at 7:15 p.m. with a King’s Kids/TRAC Club for ages 4-teen.
