NEW DELHI (AP) — Indian police said they arrested six men Sunday in connection with the gang rape of a Swiss woman who was on a cycling vacation in central India.

A police officer in Gatia district of Madhya Pradesh state said the men all admitted to the crime. He spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to speak to the media.

Police say the woman and her husband had camped out in a forest in Datia district of Madhya Pradesh when they were attacked by a group of men Friday night. They say that the couple were robbed and beaten, and that the woman was gang-raped.

The woman, 39, was treated Saturday at a hospital in the nearby city of Gwalior and was released later that day, police said.

The attack came three months after the fatal gang rape of a 23-year-old student aboard a moving bus in New Delhi, the capital, set off nationwide protests, sparking a debate about the treatment of women in India and highlighting the inability of law enforcement agencies to protect them.

TL – Hanging out at Politico again?

Meanwhile, Senate Democrats vote to keep White House closed to public but maintain funding for winery music, cook books, iPhone apps and obscure winter festivals.

Senator Ted Cruz [R] – The Constitution “should be the starting point for everything Congress does.” Silly boy!!!

"Obama: $1.6 trillion in taxes on the wealthy, $50 billion in short-term stimulus spending and $612 billion in recycled cuts."

Your words, not mine.

What an idiot you are, dude, to do this post and eat your own stupidity.

"So in your world the president, by himself, can decide to add spending of $50 billion!

Even Crickets can distinguish the difference. Ryan’s budget balances in 10 years, Reid’s budget NEVER balances!

Meanwhile, Bernanke buys $85 Billion of our own bonds a month to artificially prop up Wall Street. Forward!!!

Liberal Logic 101 – Liberal Economic Theory (AKA the Democrat Cycle of Stupidity)

Step 1 – Raise Taxes

Step 2 – Never Reduce Spending (not even a reduction in budgeted increase)

Step 3 – Increase Business Costs

Step 4 – Force Business to Reduce Payroll

Step 5 – Raise Unemployment

Step 6 – Increase Entitlements

Repeat, Repeat and Repeat until downward swirl ends with flushing noise. Cloward and Piven are so proud!

Ever needed a job and got one from a poor person? Thought so!

Lindsey Lohan has clearer vision.

Obama: $1.6 trillion in taxes on the wealthy, $50 billion in short-term stimulus spending and $612 billion in recycled cuts. GOP: THIS IS AN OUTRAGE. Obama: Ok...what's YOUR proposal then? GOP: *crickets*. The Party of 'No' is back, baby

Obama has $50 billion in spending addition, yet claims he cannot find a dime to cut out of sequestration spending. Ridiculous. And lying, too. Oh, the hypocrisy!

And $88 Billion fits into the void of $16 Trillion without the need of romance or lubrication just fine. Thanks Obama!

Fed makes record $88.4 billion profit. Thanks Obama.

The income came mostly from $80.5 billion in interest on Treasury bonds and mortgage-backed securities, according to the annual financial statements audited by Deloitte.

Fortunately for TL and others, Bush-Derangement-Syndrome [BDS] is not fatal, at least not directly.

2053??? How about some Current Events:

Harry Reid [D] just submitted his first budget in over 4 years and it balances in, umm NEVER!

Paul Ryan [R] submitted a budget proposal that balances in 10 years.

Last week Obama [D] sitting on $16 Trillion in debt said, “there was NO immediate crisis in terms of debt” yet only a few years ago called Bush’s debt of $9 Trillion “unpatriotic and irresponsible.” All the while The Federal Reserve is furiously printing money to buy back our own bonds. Move along children, nothing to see here!!!

Obama’s [D] National Institute of Health (in the throws of “sequester”) just issued a $2.7 Million grant to study why lesbians tend to drink too much alcohol.

Limousine Liberal Billy Maher [D] complains his taxes are too high. If only there was a tax on stupidity. Oh wait!

Your questions are in the "too hard" pile.

However, I can recall past events.

Paul Ryan [R]: "There is no debt crisis".

Paul Wolfowitz [R] admits that the US failed in Iraq but denies he orchestrated the war; that was all Bush's idea.

It seems the Bush [R] administration low balled us on their little Iraq war by the tune of $6 trillion.

So what did that $6 trillion get us, exactly? Since we borrowed to pay for much of the war, we're facing nearing $4 trillion in cumulative interest between now and 2053, according to the 30 researchers who worked on the "Costs of War" report for Brown University's Watson Institute for International Studies.

Obama, Reid, Pelosi, etc., campaigned on "ending the war now if you elect us!" in 2006. They won on their promise, and then completely ran, dodged and hid on the issue, not backing their promise up. Obama ran again in 2008, promising the same, and did NOTHING except keep the status quo in Iraq Bush drawdown and then ESCALATED ON HIS OWN the war in Afghanistan. Every dead and injured American since 2006 can directly blame the Democrats for failing to keep their solemn promise to their constituents who voted them into office.

Politics stinks.

And so does the idiots, Democrat and Republican alike, who swallow their swill.

I think the greater question is: Why under Obama’s sequester is funding for tuition assistance to American troops being cut, yet funds for Pakistan’s education assistance program go untouched? FYI: $370 million to Pakistan last year in non-defense aid, $12.7 million dollars of which was for education. BTW: an additional $37 million in foreign aid to our good friend Pakistan since the enacting of Obama’s sequester.
