CMS girls lose first game of the season; fall to Cartersville

The CMS Lady Jackets lost their first game of the season Thursday to Cartersville 28-26. The loss dropped Calhoun to 12-1 on the season.

Wimberly Roe led the Lady Jackets with 13 points. Molly Palmer had six points and 13 rebounds.

JV

The Calhoun JV team continued their winning ways with a 39-4 victory over Cartersville Thursday. The win improved the JV’s record to 13-0.

Tamia Wade led the Lady Jackets with nine points and five steals. Laura Carter and Sydnie Parker followed with six points each. Carter also had seven rebounds.

Blair Spector and Blair Robinson each had four points.

Calhoun will face Sonoraville on Saturday with games starting at 10 a.m.
