Jazz musicians at Berry College will present their spring concert, “Legends of Jazz,” at 7:30 p.m. Thursday in Ford Auditorium.

The concert will feature Berry’s Jazz Ensemble and Jazz Combo performing some of the most memorable jazz tunes in history. Included in the program will be selections by Benny Carter, Glen Miller, Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Frank Sinatra and Ella Fitzgerald.

Every arrangement will be taken from the Berry Jazz Ensemble Library. This library contains more than 900 arrangements which have been composed, compiled, purchased and performed throughout the last century.

Joining the Jazz Ensemble will be Bill Robison, retired professor of music and former ensemble director. He will be performing along with Stan Pethel, chair of fine arts.

This event is free and open to the public. Call 706-236-2289 for details.
