The Northwest Georgia Family Crisis Center Board of Directors has selected Sue Tuggle as the Honoree to be recognized at Center’s Spring Fashion Show which is scheduled for Saturday, April 24, at Walnut Hill Farm.

This special event is open to the public to help support the Center’s important work and honor Tuggle for her contributions.

Tuggle was selected as the honoree because of her long commitment to the Family Crisis Center and her passion and efforts to help “keep families safe.”

While an active Board member, Tuggle assisted with organizing the first fashion show. This year’s event is slated for Saturday, April 24, starting at 11:30 a.m. The venue is Walnut Hill Farm located on Lee Bryant Road, off Highway 2 East of Prater’s Mill. Walnut Hill Farm is a perfect venue for a spring event with beautiful formal and informal gardens and a splendid panoramic view. Owner, Nanette Yarbrough, generously donated the facility for the event.

Board member, Jennifer Dixon, and the Mary Kay Cosmetic team will provide make-up fashion trends showcased by the models.

The purpose of Northwest Georgia Family Crisis Center is to end violence in the home by providing shelter, advocacy and support to victims while working in communities to change attitudes, beliefs and behaviors. The Center provides emergency shelter for domestic violence victims and their children. In addition to a shelter, the Center provides advocacy and client support services through offices in Dalton and Calhoun. The Center serves Gordon, Murray and Whitfield County residents.
